Transform this old hand valve into a fully functioning Thermostatic Radiator Valve without re-piping anything. We can custom manufacture a Macon Controls Conversion Kit for virtually any globe-style radiator valve. Why is this beneficial? Old piping can be brittle and re-piping a new valve will be labor intensive and expensive. Remove the handle and internal portion of the old valve and we will provide you with a new internal portion which you can then outfit with a new thermostat (Shown below with EVO-Z Non-Electric Thermostat with Remote Sensor – Other configurations and types are available such as Electric and Wireless actuators). All thermostats can be locked and limited to a high temperature setting specified by the building. Buildings that have windows open in the winter are wasting incredible amounts of energy and of course, money. We understand that energy conservation projects can be costly. With Conversion Kits, you will dramatically reduce labor to install, reduce the likelihood that a pipe may break and be out of an apartment or tenant space much faster.
